I started working in recruitment in 1999, after retiring from being a qualified chef. I have helped two start-ups and worked my way up the ladder to manager. I still enjoy the day-to-day conversations I have with my nurses. When I do have some time on my own, I enjoy a game of golf with my friends, a rare date night with my wife, or just chilling in front of the TV with a takeaway.
I started working at Plan B Healthcare in 2015. Speaking with the staff we book out to work every day is extremely rewarding, it's great to meet the staff and witness them grow in their career through the training courses we provide. In my downtime I like to stay fit in the Gym, support my local football team and spend time with my friends.
I have been in recruitment for over 4 years now. I strive to put myself in our nurses' shoes and make their working life as smooth as possible, making sure that they are looked after and get what they need. I love to read books and also enjoy a healthy living lifestyle.
I have over two years of experience in recruitment within the healthcare sector and it’s great working with professionals whilst making sure their day to day jobs run as stress-free as I can. Before recruitment, I played semi-pro football and I also did a great deal of acting, including film and theatre work.
