Key Responsibilities:

As a Maternity Nurse with Plan B Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to mothers and newborn babies during the postnatal period. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate postnatal nursing care.
• Monitor and assess the physical and emotional wellbeing of mothers and newborns.
• Support and educate families on newborn care, feeding, and postnatal recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Recognise and escalate any concerns regarding maternal or neonatal health.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with midwives, doctors, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Deliver person-centred care while promoting dignity, respect, and family involvement.

Role Requirements:

To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Registered Nurse with postnatal and/or maternity experience.
• Previous experience working within a postnatal care environment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• A professional, compassionate, and patient-centred approach.
• Reliability and availability for regular shifts across Scotland.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical care.
