Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgery, including assessment, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring informed consent is obtained.
- Assist anesthetises during the administration of anaesthesia, ensuring the patient's safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Provide support to the surgical team during operations, including instrument preparation, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Monitor patients in the recovery room, manage pain relief, and ensure safe recovery from anaesthesia.
- Act promptly in emergency situations within the operating department, providing life-saving interventions as required.
- Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized, in good working order, and available for use during procedures.
- Act as an advocate for patients' safety and well-being throughout their perioperative journey.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including anaesthetic charts, surgical notes, and recovery observations.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, infection control policies, and professional standards.
Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay current with advances in surgical and anaesthetic practices.
